Scoring Program Changes for 2024
- Verified support for Windows 11.
- Menu item added to send all tournament results to the DI Resource Area (previous versions only sent winners)
- Updated documentation for the new year.
- Updated the challenges.
Other Scoring Changes for 2024
- In the past, fractional subjective scores have been permitted but were used by an extremely small number of appraisers. Starting in 2024, DI will no longer support fractional subjective scores – all subjective scores must be entered as whole integers between 0 and 30.
- Scoring Program and Resource Area: The “Send Certified Winners to DIHQ” option under the File menu of the Scoring Program has been replaced with a new option called “Send Tournament Results to DIHQ”. This new option will send the list of advancing teams to DIHQ similar to the previous functionality. However, it also supports new features for reporting and posting tournament results within the Resource Area under “Post Results” on the Tournament Dashboard. Unlike the previous option, this new option can be used before the tournament is complete and it can be used multiple times throughout the tournament to report or post partial tournament results, if desired.
- Some tournaments use paper sticky notes and others use virtual sticky notes. To reduce confusion, virtual sticky notes can now be disabled tournament-wide within the Edit Tournament page in the Resource Area. When disabled, virtual sticky notes will no longer show up for appraisers within the mobile client.
- The display of expense reports and the selection options have received minor updates to provide more clarity.
- The user interface for the mobile client has received minor updates.
